Our Annual Member Meeting took place June 3 in Portland, OR as we reviewed grid modernization progress over the last year, our focus for the coming year, as well as organization business – and we announced winners of the 2025 Grid Innovator of the Year Awards.

The past year has been a rollercoaster for Grid Forward, its members and the broader community. From last year’s concerted effort to leverage federal programs, to the current re-calibration under a new administration, we’ve all be very busy charting the optimal way forward for grid modernization. At our Annual Member Meeting the Grid Forward team, partners and members shared a year’s worth of successes, surprises and new initiatives to advance the grid.
