If you have an innovative technology or service for advancing grid modernization, this is your competition. At GridFWD 2023, Grid Forward is hosting a grid innovation pitch competition, sponsored by Accurant International who is offering a range of prizes including  $50,000 in Business Advisory Services or $250,000 equity investment! Bring your best pitch! The judges will be announced soon.

We are not setting a specific grid challenge for your pitch to address, but we are interested in emerging companies with new technologies aligned with our theme, Embracing Disruption.

2022 Innovation Pitch Contest Winners Exodigo at GridFWD 2022 in Denver.

You must be present at GridFWD 2023 to make your pitch and attend the announcement. Grid Forward will assist with helping selected start-up companies register for the event. Selected companies will receive pre-event couching and guidance, and invitations to special activities during the event.

Selected companies will be competing for these prizes:
  • $50,000 of Business Advisory Services from utility solution commercialization experts with Accurant International
  • $250,000 equity investment from Accurant International after confirmatory diligence*  
  • Project and partnership consideration from Grid Innovators Pitch contest supporters
